Badapwned
Has anyone ever tried leaving the boost bottle ports open, or whatever there called? You would obviously have to put bigger jets in, but just an idea. Or even possibly piping them to the air filter, so their not just exposed to the environment.... wuch ya think? Air intake needs to be controled and needs fuel added. Any air intake beyond the carb isn't controled and would cause a lean condition which is always bad and leads to dumping money into your motor. docjcwatson
You would have fuel spitting out the holes.

RUDEDAWG
On second thought, just remove the main jets and drill out the holes to 1/2" and put air filters on top of the intake boots. That will work, (I think).

With and opeaining that big your banshee will be Idling at 7,000 rpm. actually it would stop sucking fuel out of the carbs altogether. so what could it hurt? go ahead and give it a go, and make sure to dump half a can of either down each tube to get it started. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: lemmie know how it turns out :shoothead: does anyone know where i can get an adaptor for a 1000cfm deMon carb on my shee? it worked wonders on my built up 454, but i just get the intakes to line up :: ::

sheerider1026
i was thinking about drilling holes in the tops of my pistons.. would kinda act like a boost port.. anyone tried this yet?? well maybe i should just remove my crossover tube so it will run lean and just melt holes in them for me.. ?? dude you should know better than that.. if it even ran like that it would run so lean and so shitty, then it would melt the pipes and the pistons.. not trying to be such an ass but why would someone even think of doing that??
