sinisterboo
permatex ultra grey would be about the only thing I would use. I use it on my ITP beadlocks because it is the only thing Ive found to hold.

Do you mean on the valve stem? marinenyc, in your sig if you look at your front tires there are two rings of bolts. the bigger of te two is the one that holds the ring and the smaller of the two is the one that holds the billet part of the wheel to the carbon fiber part. with in the smaller ring of bolts there are two rubber o-rings that seal it. thats where the leak is and thats where i was thinking of using the liq. gasket on. you dont have any o rings there? thanks peter
locogato11283
i would replace the o rings with o rings. i dont think a sealant type shit will work. youll be in and out of water, mud, etc.. i just think the o rings will be best. 2001Stroker
permatex ultra grey would be about the only thing I would use. I use it on my ITP beadlocks because it is the only thing Ive found to hold. I used this on my big block for the front and rear intake gaskets, with 13.5:1 compression. It built up alot of crank pressure, since I never installed an evacuation system. It would blow the gaskets right out everytime I started it, but the Permatex was a one time installation. Held up until I sold the engine.
MarineNYC
AH!! Ok Ty ive never had them apart there. Yea buy new O rings. Like LOCO said. We used to try all type of sealers when I worked on HELOs. Never worked out the rright way. Try this . We used to coat the o rings in vasalein (petrolium jelly) and that used to help them stay in place and create the initial seal. Im telling you the truth. It sounds funny but is a proven trick.

2001Stroker
just make sure you use petroleum jelly, and not KY jelly.
