official_style
When is the next trip out there? I won't be able to make this trip, too much shit to do on both bikes, they won't be done on time. I want to drive out there with both my bikes once they are done, stop in vegas, ride out there a little, and my boy who lives in vegas will then drive with me to the dunes. docbones
We run paddles about 10% of the time. We ride El Centro to Gecko Rd To Colorado River through the Mountains To Mexico and everywhere between. Nobody on the trip will do runs like us guaranteed! Absolutely not necessary running paddles unless you run camp to olds and back only like most of the crew that run on this trip................ docbones
Thats cool. When we first started going to Glamis we stuck to the sand and ran paddles also. Believe me we love the dunes, just after a few days we like to explore. We go out for 11 days and like to hit everywhere available. Out in Utah like Coral Pink the sand is much softer and finer and we run paddles, in Glamis paddles are really not necessary. It all comes down to preference.....
