Recommended Posts

I've bought a new brand Banshee 4days ago, and am planning to play with the motor abit, Dune stuff.

I've Bought Hauler 10paddle tires and abit of fashion stuff like spacers and so on, and now i want to move to the engine, am thinking off,

36mm Carb

Powerhead

Heavy Duty Clutch

Wisco Pistons

and T5.

Would it be a good set?

A few questions,

will i need x2 36mm Carbs?

What size of Pistons will i need? Not into Racing that much, but somthing decent, and what size of porting will i have to do,

If i've missed anything on what am getting that i really do need like a rad or somthing please let me know, am going to buy those stuff in like 15hours.

Thanks for your Feedback:)

10 paddle is a lot of paddle. I run a 6 paddle. What are you doing to the motor ? (i.e. porting, stroke, etc.) I have 30 mil/. carbs, porting, stock clutch w/ barnett HD springs, cool head w/ 19 cc domes, and a dyna tec cdi. That works good for me in all play spots.

36mm carbs are just a little to big for a stock motor.

Powerhead sounds like something you get from a female bodybuilder.

Do you need new pistons? if not dont bother.

T5 are a great pipe

You dont need 36mm carb. But their are 2n1 carbs.

I think I would cover the basics first then port it when the top end gets a little tired. a lot will depend on your riding style. strickly dunes , dunes / trail, drag , hill shooter. But get a filter kit, {the stock filter set up sucks} and outer wear, good pipes, jet it, eliminate the tors set up, The stock carbs will run pretty decent for a lot of the mods.

suspension is always a good thing to modify. If your not using the exsisting power more power will not make you faster. but Like mentioned earlier that depends on type of riding
