AKheathen
There was no more cu. ft. to be had that I was willing to give. I moved the seat forward about 4" to make more room for the box. With 6 subs, ea. sub is getting over .39 ft3 and min is .33. I know how to build a vented enclosure and have built my fare share. I'm not into the roadside DB drags anymore. I'm pretty much SQ now and I prefer the sound of mulitiple smaller drivers over vented enclosures. I like my install and like the way it sounds. Car audio isn't my bag anymore and I've moved on to other hobbies that me and my family can enjoy. Hence BansheeHQ. I'm not trying to sound like a ass but... The guy asked to see pictures of peoples subs in their trucks. So I posted mine. I wasn't looking for a box building tutorial. If you have pics of your install in your truck.. Post'em up! sorry dude, i get a little overzealous when it comes to L7's. they were my apexual forte' i was never into advertising, but i did manage to find some old pics from about 7 years ago. it was a little rough to say the least, but just to test the box before body drop and c-knotch

05.Banshee.SE
hey 05, how is the frequency responce on those w7 subs at low volume? I want something that punches hard like them, but I heard the "bottom end" isnt so great and to go with a w6 or w3. But they would prob bottom out at a constant 500w load. Plus I dont think they drop below 20hz. Those flat pioneers sound good too, but arent very loud. Boston Accoustics have those racetrack shaped subs that are pretty compact that are bad as fuck and drop to like 15hz/1000w cont., but they are like $675 ea or something like that. I didn't have a problem hitting any frequencies...in fact, I think it never missed a beat. The difference between it's performance at the volume on 14, and on 36 was definately obvious though. It went from my mirrors rattling to my bed liner rattling, lol. I kinda got rid of it now for parts money, lol...
