wacko2000
Im thinking about switching to CPI's, im having a 4mil built with bigger carbs and all the goodies. I have T5's, i was wondering if cpi's would be a better choice, My only concern is loosing bottom end with the switch. I trail ride, hill climb etc.....I guess a little of everything. thanks joseph
sinisterboo
I ride EVERYWHERE with my CPIs, and I wont ever take em back off!!! Worth every penny to me.
2001Stroker
If you ride on the aggressive side, they should work out good for you. Are you getting your engine ported? If so, how much? CPI's should really compliment a ported motor.
wesw
who ever you are getting to port it ask them.

Wesw, i just wanted to hear from some guys who have/had ran these pipes, to see how they would be for me..
JasonsBanshee
I run CPIs. I love them and I ride trails, hills and fields. I will say, I'd highly recommend porting as the CPIs go so much better with porting. My cylinders are going to Herr Juggs at the end of the month for his dune / hillshooter port. That should really wake the bike up and compliment the pipes. Then after Christmas I'm going to start buying parts to make it a 4mil. If you need a good builder, email Kevin Herr. He'll tell you what he recommends. That's exactly what I'm doing. I told him what I have on the bike, what I'm willing to buy and the type of riding I do. sinisterboo
By the way, I bought my cpi's before I was ported, and thought it was bad ass, now with a aggresive dune port, it flat rips. makes me giddy just thinking bout it right now.....
