stageIVbanshee Posted November 10, 2008 Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 the left cylinder wont work right!!! i switch the boots and it runs the exact same but the right side has some trouble running. both cylinders have had something come up from the crank and make it screw up. the left side was the worst. the right was still messed up but it was ok after i honed it. after i honed the left one it side had the gashes but they were small but still there. it is bored .50 over. should i go .60 over or .80 over? the reason i didnt bore it was becuase i ordered the pistons before i thought about the cylinders. the right runs perfect though but the left one is questionable. i am going to take the head off tommorow to see whats up. my question is what size should i got to .60 or. 80 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it will clean up with .060 then that's what you should go with. I would recommend having the machine shop see how far it has to be bored to clean up before you possibly waste your money on an other set of pistons. When you say .5 do you mean .050 inches or .5mm? Because, those are both sizes used to measure banshee pistons. Stock=64mm .010" over=64.25mm .020" over=64.5mm and so on. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
