another question

on one of my plug caps the top of the plug is stuck inside of it

how can i get that little metal tip out of the plug cap

pull your plugs out and check them! they should be light brown on the ceramic and dry. then screw the one back into the tip and pull it out of the cap  you may have to push and turn to get it to screw back in. and excessive smoke is usually cheap oil, old/bad gas, or plugged air filter.

How often are you guys changing plugs out anyways? JW

I usually change mine about every 6 months, just cause I'm anal. I do it in my car, too. If your jetting is right and you don't use over-excessive amounts of oil, you should be able to run on the same plugs like it's a 4-stroke. They should last for a very long time, and SHOULDN'T ever foul.

Thanks for the info man.

I've yet to foul a plug, and haven't had any plug problems *knock on wood*....

Apparently I'm even more anal, because I change out plugs about bi-monthly or so. I don't have to, but I'm usually ordering parts anyways so I throw a new set of plugs in, and keep all the oldies together (that are still good.) NGK must love my ass.

Since I've been modding my bike so much lately, and dialing it in all the time, I have plug chopped what NGKs South American plants have produced in the last 6 months. JK JK
