glk45 Posted November 9, 2008 Report Share Posted November 9, 2008 i am wondering what is the smallest CC dome i can safely run on my bansh? right now i am running 21cc domes and i run on vp110 octane fuel. i would like to try out some 18 or 19 cc domes but i dont want to kill the bottom end of my motor. i dont have any motor work done.. one of my buds has 20cc domes and i need to out do him!!! thanx for any help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wildcardracing Posted November 10, 2008 Report Share Posted November 10, 2008 Do a compression test so we know where you are with the 21's. I can tell you that you are losing hp with the 110 if you are under @170 psi static compression. 21's at sea level should only require 100 octane even with a +4 timing advance.
