2001Stroker
This must be the guy that had a fourwheeler strapped to the roll-up door on a U-Haul.
JasonsBanshee
Don't quote me on in but I believe all you have to do is shut your fuel off and you'll be fine. I see guys stand both 2 and 4 strokes up all the time. I say go for it bro!
2001Stroker
If you're worried about the oil draining into the air box, drain the fluids before you transport. Don't forget to put the oil back in when you get there.
fox_forma
stand it up on the grab bar on the street and see if it drains into the air box or not. If it does find a solution, if not load it up
shee rips
i dont see why it would. the cylinder sits farther forward than most of the bottom end, so the oil should go to the low point. only one way to know for sure tho
2001Stroker
I forgot to mention earlier, gas is very likely to come out of the carb overflow.
spike
We've done this many times with my buddy's. and it depends on the bike... The Honda would loose oil but the Suzuki kept it, I'm not sure about the YFZ but i think the crankcase breather tube goes into the airbox and its where oil comes from. One solution could be to xtend the tube and re-route it so it goes to an higher point on the bike. here's our redneck setup
05.Banshee.SE
WTF are you talking about? How in any way does your reply have anything to do with his question? Lmaooooo. I don't know if it's myth or not, but from all my years of riding, standing a bike up is a no no with all those fluids flowing in odd places. Throw it in the bed of your truck...or on a trailer... I really want an enclosed trailer actually.
