MarineNYC
My friend owns a paint shop and he is going to paint my stock rims black for me and I am thinking about throwing a set of these on http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/overview/mu...a-km2/3930.html Does anyone have any experiences with them? I will be throwing 33x10.5's on. They look like nice tires and I know I cant go wrong with a set of BF's.
2001Stroker
My dad had some on his truck that he just got rid of. They are nice for a little bit of mud. Don't know if you're into that. They last forever on the street though. With all of the 4x4's that I've had, the best tire that I ever owned for off-road AND street driving, was Super Swamper TSL/SX. I had 35x15.50's. You can get those in 33x15.50. The 33's look sick, with the lower profile and wide ass stance. But since you're using stock rims, BFG's would prolly be be best route. Not a bad all around tire. MarineNYC
I will be on the street 99.9% of the time. I just like the look of them and I know that bfg's last a long time on the road. I have a set on there now that have almost 70,00 miles on them. I think there just the bfg at's. But these new MT's sure look good.

flyhighprerunner
Ive seen rattle canned rims, they looked fine, but they were on an off road truck....they held up fine, besides getting blasted from being in the sand, but since your not going to be in sand you should be fine....Also BFG's are great tires i would recommend the A/T k/os they are the best off road / street tire ever made, the muds will wear down really fast(faster than you want i should say but you will still get life out of them)...but hey thats just my opinion

MarineNYC
Looking to go with a 17 inch rim with 33's. Whatcha guys think?
2001Stroker
pretty sure that you have to have about 6" total to make them clear the fenders good. You prolly could fit them with 4", but they'll rub. I take it you have the newer style S-10, not the old box style.
Michael Jackson
if your on the road 99% of the time theres alot better choices than that, although i guess they look good
bbcmudtruck
I run the BFG mudterrain T/As and just had to replace the front tires due to cupping. They only had about 20k miles on them. One of them was severely cupped and slapped real bad on the highway. As far as wear, the tread still looks brand new after 20k though. They do pretty good in the mud, but if your going to be running down the highway why get a mud tire? Strictly for looks?
