i want my clutch to moove faster. it works normal. but i want faster clutching. i don't know if it's stock or not, but i'm wondering what i shiuld do/ buy. if i'm gonna upgrade, i have to be able to ride it alot without it getting "sticky" or grabby like kevlar discs. i won't be able to dive into it for a couple weeks, but i need any opinions on what works best. :thanks:

Dont really know what your talking about as my stock clutch ever did that, nor did a cheap tusk clutch. Depends what you want to spend, cant go wrong with a f.a.s.t. racing clutch

well, i dont know what materials the friction plates are made out of, but if you get a kevlar disk hot, it starts grabbing when you try to ride it. i prolly just need to lube my cables, but i'm gonna do alot of doubble and tripple clutching at the moto cross park, and i need the fastest response i can get. a ms would make all the difference in the world, when time slows down in your head. my blaster was the same- worked perfect, but seemed like it could be made faster. would it help to pull the o-rings? and how much is a F.A.S.T. clutch? p.s. i mentioned kevlar because it, and ceramic are your 2 choices for performance in cars and trucks, and i've played with both, but this is my first shee :ninja:

You're just abusing the clutch....

Try stiffer springs, lighter oil and gear the bike down a bit so you don't have to clutch it as frequently....

There's no reason to gear the bike to do 75 to 80 MPH when it'll never see that on a MX course...gear it for power out of corners and off jumps...

the mx course is just the only place to ride in town, but i will be hitting the beaches and trails and even an old coal mine. i dont want to be shown up by my own blaster on the beach. and burning up a clutch is no big deal for me. i'd rather pour money into it and have more fun than watch how i ride. thats how we do in ak. i will abuse my clutch once in a while, and i dont want to waste time on one that won't perform the way i want. i keep up with an r6 right now on the streets, and if i get the clutch dialed in, he's toast next summer.

you need one of these clutches. They make you super fast. Plus you can change the clutch out once a week with out having to drain the coolant.

It is a lockup clutch. No you dont need one. It puts more pressure on the clutch to keep it from slipping. The faster the wights turn the more pressuer is put on the clutch.

yah, not looking to drag, just want better response. it looks cool though. i was thinking on putting sronger springs, changing the lever geometry, and eliminating any drag i can find. i'd apreciate any tips on clutch packs, mid plates, and pressure plates though.

Buy a factory OEM inner and outer hub, a billet basket, a new fiber, spring and steel plate combo, a new throttle cable and an aftermarket lever/perch assembly that changes the leverage ratio to make pulling the clutch easier.

ALL of this will probably cost 200 bucks or so, give or take. Give Jeff @ FAST a call. I've yet to see a clutch hold up like his.
