locogato11283 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 i would buy everything from 14-16 and 40-44. then he can fine tune it just how he wants. primary drive sprockets are cheap. i have all of the above plus some, just in case i need to fine tune something when i get to the dunes. locogato11283 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Share Posted November 3, 2008 so 15-16 for good dune/trails its all gonna depend on rider weight, tires, motor, swingarm, condition of the ground... thats why i said buy them all. that way once you get there you can decide what you need. for the most part i would imagine most duners are going to need a 15 tooth or smaller on the front. 16 is gonna be pretty tall for the sand for most dune bikes.
