locogato11283
cheapest is not always best. why would you want to stick your head in a cheap helmet? a milcrate and a piece of clothesline will be the cheapest. thats god damn right. i cant understand why someone would settle for less when it comes to a helmet.. i mean, it is your head afterall.. JasonsBanshee
higher price doesn't mean better product. It's all about snell and DOT ratings.
shanYE west
higher price doesn't mean better product. It's all about snell and DOT ratings. Cant forget about quality control. But I do agree that higher price isn't always better. But I also wouldn't go cheap. I like the mid price range. lol I use a M2R Revaltion X2 for trails and a Shoei for the track. I've used Many O'neil helmets, Thor and a Bell
rtcc
I have always used Thor helmets. Did anyone see the write up in the Quad magazine a few months back? They did a huge story trying to find out what is best for helmets, it was super confusing but when it was all done they said as long as they are certified they should be ok. The 500 dollars helmets mainly just have better features and lighter construction materials or rediculous graphics. Not always the case but most of the time.
