skinindustries Posted November 1, 2008 Report Share Posted November 1, 2008 I am lookin into gettin new pipes for my banshee but I don't want to spend 700 pocket is alittle tight right now just want to know the best bang for my buck I guess and what size jets and stuff should I run I'm runnin without an airbox got 1 filter per carb. I think I have stock jetting now any help would be good I don't want to rebuild my motor again I bought it broke the guy before me didn't tighten the clutch adjustment screw nut and it came loose and boogered up the clutch gear and shattered the water pump gear and took a chunk outta the primary drive gear Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bansheejoel Posted November 1, 2008 Report Share Posted November 1, 2008 depends on how much you want to spend and what kind of riding you do...If i were you and wanted to just dune ride i would find a set of cpi's but those are hard to find cheap....any good pipe isnt cheap for that matter. A good decent priced pipe used is toomey t-5's, i would get those for dune riding and such. Or would get fmf's for trail riding/dune riding. Just depends what you want. 2001Stroker Posted November 1, 2008 Report Share Posted November 1, 2008 If that's all you plan on riding, I would just get some FMF's or Toomey's. I have FMF SST's and FMF Power Core II silencers. They work good, but not for how and where I ride. Toomey T-5 seems to be a popular pipe on this site. I think that with what you are doing, either pipe would be a good choice.
