gmctruck1976
hello guys im in the middle of a build here i need some advice on different suspension set ups. ill be running a 421 stroker motor. It is a darn j arm frame that im planning on leaving that way with after market j arms. I will have work preformance shocks up front and the stocker on the rear. i was thinking that i may use spacers up front and a g force adjustable in the back. im not sure if i should change swing arms though and if i do where to go longer or shorter. not sure what is what when it comes to that. any advice would be help full. im not planning on doing any mx just tight woods hills old rail road beds and fire trails that have some bad woops also is it advisable to get a stabalizer for the steering? Hell ya get a stabalizer...they are night and day...you will beable to ride all day with that thing..I have mine cranked up to number #7 for the dunes. thats one of my first mods ill always get for a bike... as for the spacers i wouldnt run them do to the fact that the wheel studs. And you do or you dont have after market arms already? The axle is a great upgrade. and for the swinger i would prob just stay the same for right now tell you see how the 421 handles with the stocker to see if you want to go longer or shorter... Just my input. Edited October 13, 2008 by GrMeyer
