UPS Sux.

I needed to send a small part to Wisconsin and figured the price couldn't be too much more than the USPS, I'd drop it off at the local UPS store.

Small box weighed in at 1/2lb...8 ounces. $10.87 shipped. WTF??

It would have been $2.65 at the USPS but their slow ass line kept me there past 5:00, so I missed the post office.

And the clincher is that instead of taking the 6 days it will to get there, it would have only been 3.

They aren't getting my cash next time..... :banghead:

Does eBay own UPS now??

Yeah dude UPS sucks balls. they broke my cases so i claimed it on my insurance well the guy came and picked it up at Jeffs shop to inspect it and ended up sending the fucker back in the box that i originally mailed it in to get another 60 bucks out of me to send it back to Jeff. Fucking ridiculous

USPS for me! Good pricing, tracking & insurance is cheap as well.

[There's a couple of douchebags there with poor customer service so i try to avoid them]

They now have these walk up to machines that spit out your postage based on your package.

I hate UPS because it's by my crib sooooo.. I'm usually the last drop off at the end of the night. I ordered my bro a clutch kit, he could of installed today but it didn't happen. UPS just showed up.

I agree UPS is outragous. I pretty much only USPS. You know what sucks too, is any kind of ordering online is done through UPS which is why a clutch puller costs like $20.00 for 3 day air when you order online, it's bull!

Man ive been thinking all of this for a while now, so im glad u brought it up. I used to use UPS all of the time, and then one day I went to send something from the post office and just stood there in shock at how cheap it was and the guy said you look suprised like you thought it would be more, and I said i am. USPS every since then for me. I havent checked fed ex or dhl but they are probably just as high.

Yeah USPS is alot cheaper and quicker for stuff under 10lbs or so. But you go getting into heavy stuff along with what zone the reciever lives in they rape your ass wide open.

out of ups, dhl, and fedex, ups is the best. but if your shipping smaller stuff and of lower value then id say usps is the way to go.

UPS is the best way to go for big stuff, USPS is the way to go for smaller stuff.

I've shipped cylinders, axles, tires and all kinds of stuff across the states.

USPS was always cheaper for me!

They were cheaper for me too. But they beat up a set of my cylinders here lately. So from now on the more expensive stuff will out fedex with insurance.

One other good thing about UPS is that it comes with 100$ worth of insurance free, usps does not offer insurance unless you pay extra which I think is a bunch of bullshit.

Why should you have to pay them extra to feel confident that your shit isn't going to get damaged and not get compensated for it.
