Much cheaper to buy one that's allready built than to build one from scratch, just make sure it has been good quality work done by a reputable company or builder. Also make sure that the mods done will suit your riding style as there are soooo many different ways to build a shee. Look for one that has been well maintained. And, one common problem that comes to mind is chain whack, the rear portion of the upper case will be broken above the drive sprocket.
