i put in 240 jet & k&n air filter. when i started it didnt smoke so that tells me not enough fuel. it wont stay running. so do i need to move clip to 4

If it won't idle, it's your pilot and air screw. Did you put in the 27.5 pilot or leave in the 25? If you left the 25 in, set your air screw at 2 turns out. Move your air screw in 1/2 turn at a time. If it starts to idle better when you turn the screw in you need to put the 27.5 pilot jet in. If you over oiled your filter, that will cause it to run shitty also.

240 main is about right. Needle on 3rd (middle) clip, 25 (stock) pilots and 1.5 -2 turns out on air screws. Make sure the carbs are synced and do a plug chop to verify jetting. You can do a search on the jetting and exhaust forum to find out how to do this, I believe the plug chop post has been pinned.
