How much can u buy it for? I've riddin a blaster before and i know the cr250 r motor is strong.. almost indistructable.. i'd say it depends on how much u can get it for since u'r planning on thrashing on it anyway.. what do u lack on the banshee build? sinisterboo
I know the elsinore cylinder was a hot swap onto the old Odyessys back in the day, matter of fact I have one right here....
Wildcardracing
That's a hell of an engine, almost bullet proof. Probably one of the most powerfull factory air cooled 250 engines made. It has a steel sleeve. Be a pretty good sleeper.

Wildcardracing
All depends on the quality of the motor swap and how the engine and bike have been maintained.

sinbanshee
if it runs good do it even when your banshee is done id be a fun neighborhood bike
AKheathen
you should be carefull climing that bike. it's hard enough keeping the front end down with the 2 stroke and the 250 will make it twice as jumpy when it grabbs. you should probbably run a longer swing arm and give her hell. i just bought a banshee to fix my issue with it because no one can ride here without first getting tossed on their back
bansheejoel
rode a blaster with a 01 kx250 engine in it and that thing fuckin screamed. It was actually scary to ride with stock swinger, way to small for that much power unless you get some extended a-arms, axle, and swinger then it would be badass. But for just fucking around i would get it for sure
