01CandyBlue Posted October 7, 2008 Report Share Posted October 7, 2008 Well hell.My buddy lost his crank bearing so he tore it down for an overhaul.He crossed the flywheel puller and the threads are now gone in the flywheel. You can also drill and tap three holes triangulated around the FW center to use a standard wheel puller. Works every time for us. We don't like to destroy our tools :biggrin: OH, be sure to use a drill stop when drilling so you do not kill your stator.
