motor too tall and frame too short. if you wanna do a conversion with that motor you need a raptor frame or maybe a yfz450.
For once I agree with you Loco. Raptor is a better choice for this conversion. 660 Raptors are cheap these days.

there was also a gsxr 750 banshee on ebay a week or so ago looked sweet.the raptor would defiantly be the better way to go.but if you have a banshee and already have a street bike power plant i think that would be the way to go if that's what your wanting to do.also my self i would never spend the money that it requires to build a cheetah cub.b4 i did that i would get a doner snow mobile motor or wet bike motor that starts off at about a170-180hp.1100cc and then spray it and get 350 to 400 hp for about the same money.

If the street bike power atvs were faster, there would be more of them...

They are usually slower than a good running Cheetah, or even Cub.

But..I have seem some built right that run 3.70s with 200 lb+ riders...these had big ass turbos, and 300+ hp.

Invest in a cool head, and consider port and polish.. u'll be eating up the 4 strokes if u do that

a lot of guy's that build the street bike motor quads are just wanting something different.not to say there faster or slower.there defiantly heavier,i rode a buddy's gs 750 quad wouldn't want it but it was different.when my motor blows and since they quit making banshee's im thinking of going the snow mobile motor route.going from site to site i think ive seen everything so far just about.did anyone see the turbo 2 cycle banshee motor,i cant remember what site i seen it on.i would like to see some one do a harley set up in one to see how it works, seems to do pretty well at the track,im not a harley fan but am curious to see one perform.

I guess I might be biased by the fact I have yet to see 1 street bike motor Banshee that wasn't a total turd in both looks and performance, in the sand at least. Someday I might be proven wrong, but I would bet few could even outrun a 1500 dollar cub in the sand or dirt. I have seen some super fast snow mobile bikes though, but that huge belt flying around under my left leg doesn't excite me too much.

The only way I would put snowmobiel engine parts in my banshee would be: 3 cylinders sitting on top of billit Matoon Machine Cases. No way would I want a CVT Auto Transmission. Matoon's cases allow you to run a 3 cylinder 2 stroke and keep the banshee's manual 6 speed transmission.
