TurboBanshee420
Are the T-6's turd.... or just no good for modded shee's? I've been looking into pipes on ebay. Lots of good deals. Even saw a set of paul turners in mint shape go for 350. t-5's for 200 and fmf's for about 250. I love to change it up every chance I get. dajogejr
Everyone says T5s for a ported motor... Yet I'd bet 98% of those people never owned T6 pipes or tried them on a ported motor. Stuart Toomey builds a nice pipe, but outside of that, he doesn't know shit. I talked to him a few years ago, didn't know what a cub was and couldn't tell me the spec on a Dynoport needle (one that comes in his perfect jetting kit) He just said Dynoport cut it for him...uh, ok. Get T5 or 6, whichever you can find the best deal on...

05.Banshee.SE
I have T5s and love them, no opinion on the T6s havent seen em in person.
donkeypuncher
if you are planning on doing porting later on then get the t5's, if not then get the t6's. both are good pipes, just one works a little better with porting and one works better without, even toomey says this. though if you havent ran t5's on a ported banshee, then you will never know that they are supposed to be better. dajogejr
Like I said.... Toomey also didn't know what a cub was and couldn't give me a spec on his needle. What this really means is this: I spent so much testing and R&D time on a stock motor, I really don't know how it'll perform on a ported one...so, I'll put my disclaimer in the website. They work fine on ported motors....

armyvet
You " to the top" a thread from 2008, really? YES really because after all this time, people still have this misconception about the t5/t6 exhaust and what worx with what.Ignorance is eternal.I'tll never go away so this thread like others will never be obsolete
