bansheeqc
I actually planning my winter project I want to know the performance between a 10 and a 14mill 68mm cub (465 vs 493). I want to know the difference for the case...For 10 mill i think we have to trench, but no weld and 14 mill =have to weld the case...but i'm not sure... I think 14mill need 125 rod crank and 10 mill 115 rod...but... What kind of piston both set-up run? price difference for trench, crank. cub....etc... Carb size needed for both set-up etc... I think my PD cool head do the job on both set-up, but i'm not sure for the 14mill. Thank bansheeqc

RadarRacing
10 mil vs 14 mil price difference is nothing hardly. I dont know why people keep building these huge motors and then go get their asses kicked by 4 mils 98 percent of the time with a hard to tune, clutch breaking, crank wrecking pieces of crap. I havent seen maybe 10% of the 14 mil or bigger stroke motors that havent broke once or twice before they were tuned. If you have tuned and wore out a few cubs then move on to bigger stuff. Otherwise do what most of the non broken ones have done and buy it all new , have it all tuned and setup by a builder and shipped to you. registered user
i bet a small 3cyl would do pretty good. 64mm pistons and 64 on the crank
