dajogejr
From Shearer inframe to CPI out of frame, I'd be not much. Go up two on the main to be safe...but I'd guess they'll be damn close.

dajogejr
Cub cylinders are NOT like OEM, you will not see the power gain by porting on them as you would a stocker.... You can make small but significant improvements, but not even close to the same scale as an OEM.

dajogejr
I've run OOF Shearer (currently still do) and OOF CPI with and without silencers... The shearers rev a little further, not much...the CPI do come on a little sooner. I don't think you're going to notice a night and day difference....(other than they'll be louder...and your bike will be easier to work on) CPI makes a very fine pipe...plenty of people run and use them and love 'em. Blewbyu smashed a set cartwheeling his at the dunes. CPI charged him next to nothing to straighten the pretzel out...I thought that was damn good customer service. Not saying Shearer, or other pipe manufacturers wouldn't do the same, just going off what happened and what I know... Back to the question...hard to say. For pavement with a big guy on board and a lot of compression...I think you're gonna like them a lot....

I bought a set of spindle mounts for brakes by accident. The cost is significantly more. You can give Jeff Ross (www.thebomracing.com) a call, or Fullerton Sand Sports...which is actually where he orders from, I think.

Cubs already come with drag port timings. You can always coax more power out, and yes...I'm going to do just that. My point was you're not going to double the HP like you could a set of stockers, that's all.
