2-stroke_couch Posted September 24, 2008 Report Share Posted September 24, 2008 I FOUND IT WHAT IT IS. ok so i was right about the air leak. what i didnt know (my first banshee just got it monday) is that there is a tube other than the fuel tube between the two carbs. i didnt have one. so it was running like shit cause of that.so check that Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The slides are in correct i took it to the dealer to se what they say thanks fo all the help i hope the find out what it is so i can fix it and go ride. I don't know if stock petals are metal like in watercrafts but if you have install aftermarket reeds and they fray it makes for difficult starting and runs like crap. just a thought. mopar1rules Posted September 27, 2008 Report Share Posted September 27, 2008 mine was being a bitch at idle too. was an airleak, right where the boost bottle sticks into the intake boot. 2-stroke_couch, what other tube are you talking about? there is only one tube that connects the 2 carbs. mopar1rules Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 oh, i got it. you were talking the only tube as being the main fuel tube. the other tube then that yours was missing, was the choke tube. yeah, it would start/run like shit w/that missing...lol.
