I have never seen a track crew work like this to try and get the event to happen, in the end, Mother Nature won... If you can make the drive to Ionia, MI...you will not be dissapointed. I don't think parts for banshees will be a problem to find at this race based on what I saw at the 1st attempt in Sept Dave will be there -- helmet cam and all! We will make some adjustments either to Dave or the Camera for his next run here's some helmet action from Phil's last Sunday This Will Be Flat Out a Good Time and Show of some Bad Ass Stuff The 3.5 eliminator Class Friday night and pit veh race should be awesome a lot of vehicles are gonna take a shot at the $$ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dajogejr Posted October 2, 2008 Report Share Posted October 2, 2008 Just to give those of you a little background on Quad Killer, he is a small business owner in New Baltimore Michigan, and is neck deep in the sand and drag race world. There simply can not be enough hours in the day to do all he does for our sport. Between promoting events, working with tracks and the crew...having a mobile store (his trailer has just about anything you could need for race day, fuels, oils, plugs, etc...) to roping off an area for racers and weather reports. All this and asks for nothing in return, just have a good time and tell others how much fun you had.... Any even Rich is part of, I will always do my best to be a part of too... If any of you would have seen how much the guys at Ionia busted their ass to try and get the track going, you'd realize they pullout all the stops. This is a top notch facility with guys running it for us....because of us, not just to make money and get by on status quo. You simply can't beat mother nature sometimes.... And that being said...we all still had a blast. I promise you won't find a more fun, open and honest group of guys than those that will be at this race... Come out and have a ball!!
