Thanks! They make a claw you can hold the basket with. Don't know where you can get one though, sorry. I just hold it with my hand and use an impact gun. Worked fine for me everytime. SAVAGE420
What tool is needed to remove the clutch bolt and where can i get one? Its kicking my butt and im tired of playing with it... Thanks! A lil trick is to put a penny in between the gears as it will hold the basket from turning and is soft enough to not wreck the gears, worked every time. The socket needed is 32mm
bansheejoel
i put a rag in between my gear and that worked awesome. Heard the penny trick works well to
lt1bird
Between the gears? There does not seem to be any gears to put the penny into.... The inner clutch basket just spins and the only gear I can find that turns is the main chain sproket.... gonna get a impact gun and try that... Ill buy the holding tool and have it for assembly! lt1bird
Got a working impact gun and the dam nut came right off....thanks all! Now the main drive gear nut will not come off......even with the impact gun all the way up and holding the flywheel tight. It does come off CCW correct? Any hints? maybe heat it with a torch???
