pr0blumz
You don't have the plug wires switched by any chance do you? Your timing you should be atleast
FireHead
New wires in harness. They all check out fine? Have you actually sat there and connected your DVOM to the end of each wires going to your coil, stator, CDI, etc. to make sure that they are all below 1.5 ohms? If they are higher than that, then the wiring is bad, even if it looks fine. You do not have a jetting problem.
FireHead
You don't have the plug wires switched by any chance do you? Are you kidding? WTF............... as long as the plug wires are on the spark plugs and are functioning, then it doesn't matter which cylinder they are on. FireHead
explain leakdown? Have done compression test. A compression test is only half of the battle on reed valve two stroke engine. BenBB
Sounds like the flywheel is the only electrical component you haven't replaced...if it was mine I'd find one and at least pull the pipes to see if the pistons look like they aren't moving opposite each other (your crank could be out of phase as you suspect)... speed-racer
Try running a ground strap from the frame to the engine. If the engine is at the same potential as the coil, it will not fire. You can check for spark by grounding to the cylinder head and then to the frame.....there should be spark at both.
