BansheeRider87
I took my aarms off so i could paint them and went to put them back on and the bolt on the top aarm that attaches to the spindle is spinning so i cant get the nut on. The other side is all on ready to go but how do i stop the bolt from spinning. theres nothing to hold it
Bansh-eman
are you talking about the ball joint where it goes into the spindle? If so you have to get the threads started and turn the spindle as far as it will go and put alot of pressure on it and the ball joint should bindup and you can tighten it. LiftdT4R
How old are they?? Sounds like your ball joint is worn out. If its aftermarket a-arms you can buy another ball joint, if its stockers youll either have to buy one with a good ball joint, or try to make this one last a little longer. Heres what Ive done to rig it up: If you can get a small clamp in there and press the ball joint against the spindle it should provide enough friction to keep it from spinning, and you should be able to tighten it up. If you can't even do that then you will really need to think about replacing the ball joint. You can also try getting it started, and once you get a little bit of thread past the nut, hold it with a vice grip to keep it from spinning. This is not the best bet, and your kinda pushing it at this point though.
