sinisterboo
If I remember right, those were made for vito's by shearer. I may be wrong, but someone on here asked about them before. Edited September 7, 2008 by sinisterboo
dave5.0
Saw this old topic and thought I'd try and bring it back up. I just bought a set of these quality preowned. has anyone done any testing with these? Any drag racing, dyno, back to back rides? Anything? Thanks for any input. Dinner
Personally I don't know of too many or anyone running those style of pipes. Snop might have an idea of how they perform, but other than that, I have never heard anything about them. Being as that is the case, I would try and look somewhere else, unless you are able to get them for cheap. Depends on their peak RPM, their peak HP and where it is throughout the RPM, etc. What are you planning on doing with your shee?
bansheefreak
they are the same as shearers just diff silencer.. nice pipes.. tons of topend and pull forever...
Dinner
Really?, I didn't know that. Are they cheaper than Shearers, or go for around the same price? If they are cheaper, and practically the same pipe perhaps I should look into them. Edited January 18, 2009 by Dinner

dave5.0
I've read where a few people have said that they are the same as and or made by Shearer for Vito's. They aren't exactly the same as the Shearers from what I can tell in the pics I have seen. It looks to me like the Shearers come out of the cylinders and turn up. The Vito's come out and turn toward the outside then turnup. Other than that they look very similar. The mounting flanges look to be the same. Tha silencers are different. I've heard where they are supposed to run best at and read Vito's web page about them. I was hoping that as long as they had been around someone had done some testing with them. I'm doing the same with my bike that just about everybody else does. I play ride it. Love to drag race it. It gets ran on the trail sometimes bet mostly in the loose stuff. I want to get the most out of my 4mill just like everybody else. Jim at Passion told me to put CPIs on it. I almost bought a set but I don't like the lack of plug access they have. I was looking for a set of Shearers but those are expensive. I picked these up for less than 300 so I figured I'd give them a try.
