Coolant overflow gone!

I got this bike from a custom builder awhile back and did some minor stuff to it since ive had it. I just noticed today that my overflow bottle on the back of the chasis is gone and no tubes run from the radiator to it. there is one tube off the neck of the radiator thats hangs down that im assuming is an overflow tube. There is a bigger cap on the rad and it goes down about 1 1/2" into the top of the neck. Anyone heard of someone doing this before. I always check the coolant now and its always full so i know i have no leaks, but now i also know i have no overflow bottle.lol.

I just use the 50/50 premix stuff yamaha makes. When I bought it I didnt know much about the Bike. This winter when I tear my bike apart I'll be using that engine ice. The billet ones are good they do work just make sure you buy the pro design one. its about 80 bucks Cant beat there quality over the others.

Got the idea from diffrentstrokes, but I run the tube that used to go to the coolant overflow up to the bars. That way I can see if the bike is getting too hot. Check out the left side of the bars in the pics below, you can kinda see it zip tied to the hand guards. Woks good so far, a lot of people remove the coolant overflow
