snoxrage Posted September 2, 2008 Report Share Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) So i have a stock banshee and am putting a spr reed cage with boysen 2 stage reeds and a lrd adjustable exhaust on. Im not looking for the leaniest i can run, im looking for the safe zone. From what i have read i need to go up like 1-2 on the mains for the reeds, and about 8ish for the pipes. Soo like 300 mains? no clue on the pilot and or were the clip should be on the needle,Elavation is like 1500 to 950 ^sea level Please help me out im new to this 4 wheeling stuff! LiftdT4R Posted September 5, 2008 Report Share Posted September 5, 2008 What kind of intake setup are you running? (aix box? lid or no lid?) Makes a big difference in jetting. Also, you wont have to jet up for reeds, they put very little if any extra fuel into the engine. You jet basically about the same for most pipes on a stock engine. snoxrage Posted September 16, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 and what type if filter sorry i didnt see anyone repelied its stock airbox with a preoiled slip on over the stock cage. I got it running last night and it wont idle..I went one clip down on the needle from stock and put 300 mains in it. Also the air/fuel screw is 1.5 out...Maybe i need to jump up on the pilot?
