TeamRealtreeHD
Yea, we can do that. Those horses ain't got nothing on us. They'll never catch us. I wish you could, but then again, it's all flat. I'd get sick of it really quick. The thing about the real dunes out west is there are sand hillshoots and jumps and stuff. I would be an absolute idiot in the sand. Most would think I had problems I think.... I would go crazy because I knew if I wrecked it wouldn't hurt nearly as bad as coal. I want to go out there asap. bellracing2
Silver Lake dunes close every late fall and winter . better check before you get plans made ! not easy to go duning with 2-3 ft of snow on the ground !
shee4speed
The thing about riding the dunes is; do not hit a witches eye.You will break every bone in your body or die. Theres some knowledge about the flow of the dunes. And well yeah some kickass jumps.
pinned247
What the shit is a witches eye?
shee4speed
Its basicly a round hole in the sand anywher from 3 feet in diameter to 100 and som odd feet. You come across one of those 4th or 5th gear your airborn and dead.
shanYE west
We dont have witches eye's over here.. The dunes here are alot smaller then out west.. but.. there dunes so we like them.. We dont have hillshoots or hill racing. We do out drag racing on the flats. Our hills are not as big as out west either. Lots of jumps and bowls to play in though... Good Jumps really depend on the wind.. If the wind blows right the peaks of the dunes crest and makes for some good launching. Are they as good as the dunes out west?? probably not... But Its all we got and it could be alot worse.. To get into the dunes here you need to be under 98-96db's (if their checking) and you MUST have spark arrestors.
