Im working on a banshee for a buddy. Did new top end, new reeds, brand new oem carbs and a few other small things. It will not suck fuel in from carbs. Can out my hands of the intakes and kick and it will eventually pull in and start. Wont idle without half choke. Sprayed some starting fluid around crank seal did not change anything. Has 125 compression on both sides. Any ideas?

I recently tore down my banshee. It had a shifting problem and I fixed the problem with no troubles. Put it all back together, put brand new gaskets and seals on everything and torqued everything to specs. It seems like a fuel issue. The banshee is getting plenty of power to the plugs but they come out dry every time. I'm getting fuel to my carbs because it drains out of the settling bowl after I kick it a few times. It ran right when I took it apart. It almost seems like the reeds aren't opening for some reason. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hey guys , just wanted to get your opinions on what kind of fuel (like what gas station and fuel grade I should use) and oil I should use in my banshee? I live on the oregon coast so I will be doing only dune an beach riding. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Banshee is all stock, just full fmf fatty exhaust and kn filter without lid for engine mods.

So i took off my carbs and did some cleaning. once i put everything back together, I wanted to start the banshee. But once I opened the fuel valve under the tank, the right carb overflow hose had a stream of fuel coming out of it! the banshee does not start and the only way to stop the fuel from flowing is to turn off the valve. Any ideas?

Hi forum!! I'm new to the forum but been around shee's in the past. I just picked up an 04 shee and right off the bat started doing mods to it. I bought it bone stock except for Toomy pipes and aftermarket stator I'm assuming for the battery and hid lights. So here is what I have done to it in the last 3 weeks: Shaved head Wiseco 65.5 rebuild Billet Timing Plate +/- 4 board carbs Lightened Flywheel V-force Reeds 4 TORS Eliminate kit I still have the reeds, carbs and pipes to put on but after that im ready to roll. So b4 I put on the carbs what jets size jets should I use? Im at 1600ft. Also with what I have done, what would be the best fuel and oil and ratio should I run? Thanks for any input!!
