I have an 02 700 twin that I would like to part out. The quad was running when it was tore down, the only part that was bad is the one rod bearing on the crank has play in it, heard it knockin and shut her down before anything broke. Painted them this morning at work. the were prepped by sanding plastic down with 80 then 180 on a DA sander, primed withhigh build 2K primer, then 400 wet sand followed by 800grit. The paint is from a Lexus, and is DuPont Chromabase, with the cheap Nason DuPont clear. The plastics had cracks that I repaired using a grinder and fiberglass reinforced filler. Now all my son has to do is get his grades up to get some ride time in! -Erik
