  1. You are going to learn an insane amount of info on your new hobby.Anything from jetting to mods to preventive maintenence. We cover it all on the HQ.Be sure also that you check out the sites some of the members have on banshees. They are infomative and can also guide you to what you want accomplished.Take a look at all forums and you can see there is alot available.
  2. Oldsmobile hill material. RadioflyerHQ coming soon. Is it faster than the new 450???
  3. His e-mail nasty letters must be stacked to the moon. I hate people like that. Pissed me right off!
  4. The pipes you have are fine. I own PC's and thought the same thing your thinking," where's the low end on these pipes!!". That all changed when i got a Noss head.
  5. Go to the jetting forum and throw your question up there. Let the members know what pipes and airfilter you have.
  6. What a great day at the pit! I had to goof with the airscrews twice. Myself and another shee owner put on a heck of a show for the younger riders and 4 stroke owners. The "banshee only" climbs are just like what you have in Saco. They were an absolute breeze with the airbox cut and rejetting. Everyone was surprised with how well the ol'pro-circuits ripped. Thank you for the help on this.
  7. It fired right up on the first kick. The idle was higher than normal and that was rectified with airscrew/tors knobs.Carbs were just a hair off synch and adjusted.Hell of a growl under the seat with the lid cut. These pipes woke up from a dead sleep. Very strong top end. The plugs were rich but not overwhelmingly. It's 74degrees out when this took place. Tomorrow will be around 60. Is that possibly enough temp change to lean me out enough?? Of course I will do a chop or two at the pit but it's just a question.
  8. That swingarm is sweet! I can't afford it at the time.I'll have to sell myself to the street.
  9. soundds like a cool idea with a clear cover. The paint will not intrefere with the magnetic field.
  10. I suggest going down on your mains instead of up.Sound like your feeding her too much fuel through the mains.Try 330 or 320's and see if she falls flat.
  11. The back has been cut and i bumped the mains to 300. The TORS has gotta go soon it's a pain to work on carbs with them on. The pro-circuits only were able to breath through the lid, snorkle off. It makes sense the high-revs need air to perform better. I ride(show off) in a sand pit every sunday and have faith that my air filter setup will stop any debris. I will give her a test run tomorrow.
  12. I miss my 4-stroke. I got pressured by my peers and parents and my health insurance company to buy a banshee. Now I'm stuck forever!
  13. Well Ledofthezep you would have have threw me a curve if your fav. band was Crosby,Stills&Nash! Bansheebrian: pink floyd, old metallica, alice in chains, old ozzy On my way to the pit: strick diet of Pantera.
  14. Ebonics stop at the keyboard. Like men, all banshees were created equal.
  15. Nice work Lee! You should read the topic/poll in general discussion on what we did when the HQ was getting "modded". You may get a kick out of it.
  16. I've been looking myself for future reference and I'm having trouble finding the complete kit for under 150.00. There are normally some kits floating around on e-bay.
  17. I heard pro-circuits and a decent mild port is a good thing. Is there any truth to this? Pro-circuits are a nice pipe but it seems like your either in the powerband or your definitely out. They can be a pipe that can suprise you when your not ready.
  18. pipe it!pipe it! pipe it! Get the thing piped and gradually add mods as time goes on.
  19. Totally threw my freakin evening and morning out of wack. I went on the banshee bluetraxx section and and it was only a shot of morphine. It numbed the pain a little but it wore off after a while. Took all my billet and made it shine once again and that burned up 2 hours.Even did the wheels.
  20. I was working on this with Banchetta earlier and then the HQ was shut down for services. We agreed that i should cut 1 1/2 inches off the rear of my air box lid.My shee needs to breath a little bit more. I have 290 mains in her now but i will have to go to 300-320's for the mod. Do you think i will need to change my pilot jet?
  21. Send the thing out to have it rebuilt. I an planning on doing this in the winter months. Make sure whoever does the work is reputable and can build it to your specs. They will ask your weight and what style of riding you do.
  22. Hell of a forecast on existing life Fast87. I intend to purchase a 4-stroke in the future but it will have to be fast, powerful and able to pass my sand pit test.
  23. A shattered flywheel may be a good thing to avoid. I will take your advise and coat the flywheel. That is the first time it has been off from what i know of but on the computer under the V.I.N. it says i have an extended warranty for a crank replacement. The front sprocket was a 13 tooth. This was when i bought it new. Something's up. I am looking into advanced timing and sending the flywheel out to a weight loss clinic.
  24. I used the impact on it and out she flew! Gentlemen, you wouldnt believe the dust and rust that was back there. I cleaned the inside of the flywheel and hit off the ends of the stator with 1000 grit sandpaper. That's where the rust was. Now everything is shiny and new lookin.Should i get a better spark than before?
