  1. Wahts this FORBIDDEN shit all about?? If your riding your shee after 05 you can get pinched?? Thats crap.I hope that refers to new sales and not use. Good point Sandstar! stop sales tomorrow and the depreciation will cease. The HQ should be full of chatter in 2006!
  2. Realtors work pretty decent.Your best traction is when the plowdrivers go back to the town garage to fill the hipflasks and you have about 2+ inches on the roads to work with.
  3. Sorry to hear about your tragedy.Ask around the HQ and keep an eye on ebay for parts you will need to get you rolling again.I'm sure you would like to do your repairs without any accessive spending.Dealerships are tough to work with and have a history of false repairs and absurd reasons for motor failier. Stick with the HQ and get the straight shit on anything about the shee.
  4. What do your old plugs look like? What pipes do you have on?Whats your compression? You have to start with the basics because you dont know what the previous owner has done to it.Clean the air filter would be a good thing.Did you notce any jetting change or mods when you got it back?
  5. Make a gasket with a diff thickness that the stock one. All that rub will prematurely wear out the stock impeller. That sucker is cheap plastic crapola anyway. Go for the billet so you will be trouble free.
  6. Might as well rejet and that will give you a valid excuse to dig into your carbs and solve your problem.Rejetting for your pipes is extremely important!
  7. Yamaha will do fine without the banshee. These guys are way ahead in atv tech than honda or any others.Just think if they really concentrated efforts and came up with nastier thumpers year after year. The 450 is just a start for yamaha. Parts will not be a problem for years, if ever. The aftermarket is so vast and competitive you will hardly know the shee is out of production.
  8. It's gotta be some of the draggers in here that are the fastest.I know some of you guys are extremely fast.If you offered me to take your shee for a ride i would have to decline.
  9. It looks like where you live youre gonna have snow even all day Sunday. So next year when myself and a few buds go up to dayton i get to see what youve done to your shee in person. I dont own a sled for winter fun but i do sock away shee money and fun money for the spring/summer months. I wonder how many are gonna hit off Ben's jetting FAQ sheet for some winter storm riding???
  10. If you get the one that is plain introduce it to a polishing wheel for 20min and it will look like chrome. The directions are easy to follow and have fun with it. It's exciting as hell to get a new mod isnt it???
  11. I'm here in Connecticut. What is the best price you can do and do you have all the paperwork on it?
  12. To the newbies: Help us, help you! Boonie can dig up some dirt.Hey boonie! What kinda junk do you have on the watergate scandal?? We got in a ton of newbies and i hope they can read these posts and get a clear understanding of what the deal is on the HQ.
  13. Any dramatic temp change since the last time you went riding?
  14. Wow! That sounds like a hell of a spell, Ben.You guys out west are really getting hammered by the flu this year.Dirtbikes are always a pain to beat.I guess god created them to keep his banshee racers in check. Good to have you back.I always honor the info you give on the HQ.
  15. I owned a suzuki 230 and i thought i was the fastest on the planet.Sold that and lost total interest in quads. 16 years later a friend of mine got into riding and convinced me that it was the greatest thing. He was right and i bought a banshee and had no idea on what was in store for me. No test ride no nothing.just dropped 5200 bucks without prior knowledge of what it is. So i found the HQ and they cut my imbillical cord, powdered my butt and showed me the world of banshee mania.
  16. -catering to the fine ladies in Connecticut -reading a ton of books -welding - jammin through every metallica tune known on my ibanez - politics
  17. When youre haulin ass in 5-6 gear on loose gravel you want those front tires on the ground. Cutting the fenders gives you a better idea of where your tires are going. It also cools you down on those hot days.
  18. For mods i have : 21cc noss,gytr-ign.,cut airbox,13/41 sprockets, spark arrestor silencers. I still have the stock reeds and will be buying deltas shortly.I will run to the HQ as soon as i have them for jetting imput. Come to think of it i have never run 14 tooth front on the shee. I tried a 15 and it still wanted to jump out from under me. Right now its a dangerous quad for torqueing up a jump. That light switch powerband can get me hurt.
  19. For all the pro-circuit owners. How do i smooth out the "hit" of the pc pipes? I have a Noss head and that helped a bit but when the pipes hit. They just make the shee so damn jumpy. It turns the quad into a tree magnet.
  20. Hey Holeshot kid! That was brilliant! I will read it over before i leave this post.Ol'boony didnt stand a chance on this one!j/k. I didnt know that at all. One is firing on the way up and the other is firing on the way down but at the same 10 degrees. always wondered.
  21. I could sound unresourceful and tell you to do a search but the most common plug is br8es.
  22. We had a post in the roostin room about yamaha shit steel. Your landing is key to how long your stock stuff will last. When you jump do you hear a "knock" when you land?? Thats the stock spring screaming uncle and that its relying on other parts to absorb the pressure. Your axle is the least of worries on jumping.
  23. It's not like i would pick it but wheres the 250r??
  24. My stock roller is on its way out and I have decided to see if anyone on the HQ has one. I dont want to order one if a member has it available.
