  1. If completely stock run yamalube 32:1. It will keep the crank happy in the stock RPM range.
  2. I know damn well that this engine revs through my 15/40 sprockets in a hurry.Theres alot of freakin power in this motor! I think Jim started me out with the 48 pilots and 170 mains.I will check tomorrow.I believe the mains need to be a little leaner for the pro-circuits.These carbs are a dream to work with. Yeah Loco you would love the hillclimbs here in the northeast. Theres a few of them that are held at ski resorts and the climbs are 800ft!
  3. Woah! That worked out just fine.Pulled nicely. Is there anyone one out there with the Passion dragport?
  4. The motor idles like a dream and the top end is insane but theres a big hesitation in the midrange. I thought about raising the needle and see if that covers it.The hesitation is roughy at 1/3-1/2 throttle.I need to shoot out of the hole immediately for hillclimb competitions. Any suggestions?

  11. Sredish can you politely explain why I can't ride your quad? I hate the goons that give you a list fo stuff to get for you're shee and pick it apart then they'll hop on their burpin',sputterin' 300ex and fail to climb the puniest hill in the pit. If we all meet up and someones mods are close to mine and I know you have expirience and can be trusted I have no problem with it. Heck i might even let Jim at Passion ride mine if he asks very politely! j/k.

  13. I only let one friend ride my shee and he has a ton of expirience on fast toys.Anyone else "nyet". Like Locogato said" f*ck their feelings". If I asked any member here if i could take your banshee for a rip would you let me? Don't forget......I'm a BHQ member.

  15. the 10w30 Castrol seems to do the trick.Cheap as hell and it doesnt lighten the wallet. I will be using it in the NEW Passion dragport stroker.
  16. I have Jim's drag porting on 35pwk's and will let whoever know what the jetting is like.
  17. I spoke with Jim yesterday and he's working on the stickers the best he can.Anyone that has done business with him will get one. My motor will be home soon and i can't wait!!

  20. I never broke a bone when riding but Sredish has got a story for ya!
  21. The one in the Clymer manual is kinda creepy to me.It wants you to mix a 16:1 ratio of oil and fuel.If you read it through you could have the motor ready to rip within an hour according to page 146. The Ducan procedure seems alot more safe.
  22. Jim is almost done with my full drag port stroker.He is busy which is understandable especially when his business exploded in such a short period of time. I know for a fact this motor is going to be insane because of the deluge of praise he has recieved from the members of BHQ. Jim certainly knows how to make his customers feel comfortable.He will call and PM you when any question arises when you motor is at the shop making sure you get what you want out of the motor. I think it's great that Jim handles all correspondances with those who are customers or possible customers. Why would you want some secretary telling you things about your motor that were scribbled on a post-it note that was heard thruogh an intercom? For god sakes ladies and gentleman this is our hobbie and for the most part............our Passion.
  23. That oxy-acetylene trick works. You need to get a good neutral flame crimp the lines and fill a large balloon with it.Fill another balloon with helium knot them both together and tape a long wick to the oxy-acet. balloon. light and let go. It may take a few tries to dial in you gas mix just right but when you do it's one heck of a BOOM.
