I think I posted this in some other forum but here goes: At Caroga lake there is a hillclimb event Sunday the 31st.It's an 800 ft hill at the ski resort.Registration is in the morning and you mush have a helmet,killswitch and something longsleeve to wear.You cannot run alky motors at the event.50cc through 800cc for the bikes with openclass and 250cc to open for the quads.You'll be going up against other shees,zillas and250r's in the open class. Look for #72 the white shee and that'll be me!

For some compettitive riding The AMA is holding a hillclimb event in Caroga Lake,NY on the 31st of this month.Registration is 9-10 am. You will be riding against sleds in this event if you are in the ATV open class.This climb is held at a ski resort and the hill length is 800ft with scattered jumps as you acend. The ATV's normally win! Show up and you'll see me there on a white and black banshee #72.

It's a tough call because your comp. is in the danger zone.If you have stock cast pistons in there you're risking crank damage.When the stock pistons go they like to drop chunks in your crank case. The skirts like to break on those things as well.I know through expirience Nothing beats a fresh top end on a shee.The option is yours if you wnat to ride.I'm just giving you the worst case scenario.

It's sometimes tough to find a medium that works for both trail riding a well as draggin.I'd start with finding your best ratio for trail riding and then try out a few drags to see how you make out.The sprockets you chose for trail riding may work out in drag racing because you can start out in a taller gear.Your opposition may get ya in a 500ft rip but you may smoke him in 300ft. It depends and what you're up against. There's a sprocket ratio chart tumbling around the HQ that may help you.If i find it I'll post it.

220 comp. on a 404 must be a nutzo ride. The plugs damn near back out half way after a 10 minute rip.The head threads are fine and have little wear.He's also got a minor leak through a headbolt. Not a good sign.

The top of the pistons look allright.The plugs look a bit dry.I just wanted to know if I was right.When the motor is running there is no "pinging".So higher octane would possibly be the answer.

My riding bud just bought a shee with a coolhead and he's running 50/50 with 180 compression.He has no advance timiing.We're in dispute as to why his plugs loosen up on his head after tightening.I think he should be running all race fuel because he's within a C-hair of detonating. What do you think?
