  1. See, this is useful info and nice shit. But if you go back to talking about hitting bowling ball size rocks with your front tires we will make fun of you. Carry on.
  2. That's what I was saying about 300' racing. I'm not involved but I follow the ATV scene enough to know what's what. Yes, 3.51 is fast, but the majority of Banshee riders will never see or hear about that motor/pipe combo. That sounds about right. PPS and Redline were the first to get the new ones. My DM in-frames were the first set built. My out-frames were one of the first sets built in 2014, mainly because of Cam and because I wanted to see what they'd do, so I paid for a set. The big DM pipes are one thing, but some of the smaller motor LED custom pipes haven't performed as well, which is why you don't see/hear about them as much. So the answer is NO, not every "custom built" pipe performs better. Sometimes they need tweaking or something just isn't jiving. I'm too dumb for that depth though. But controls seems to know, so if anyone wants enlightened, I'd like to hear also.
  3. I typically don't read anything you write because most of it is total nonsense. Same with this debate we're having. You're completely clueless and don't even know it.
  4. I probably missed it, but what pipes are going on Control's new motor?
  5. The are far more dune racers than 300' racers. The majority of potential customers for motors/pipes aren't at 300' races, they're at the dunes. NGAF about track racing except the handful of people across the country that participate. You hear/see far more about dune racing than any other form.
  6. So, if a "duner" motor makes better power, not just peak, with CPI or Sniper, that's not out performing them? So you're saying that you're just a peak HP guy and you don't care about the rest of the curve? What if I said that my in-frame Snipers out performed your miracle out-frame pipe across the board on this new motor?
  7. Drag racers like you amount to about 1% of all Banshee riders. So basically, NGAF that you ran a 3.whatever. Riders like you don't pay the light bill. The average, casual, weekend, aggressive, etc riders (ones who pay the light bill) want more usable power for trails, dunes or hills. In more and more cases, CPI and Snipers are out performing Shearers.
  8. Not always the case. In fact, more and more often those pipes are being out performed...by in frames.
  9. You should have bought Snipers. They've been proven to make more power.
  10. Those look pretty nice. So it gets a cup on top and bottom of the poly similar to an anti-vibe stem clamp? Any sleeve inside or is the poly shit hard enough to rest against the bolt?
  11. LSPS gave the park rangers permission to patrol their sites, which pretty much eliminates any of the shit that used to happen. That's part of why I used to camp up there. Now that they can come up there and be fuck faces, I'll take the concrete sites so that it doesn't get moist when they start crying.
