10 Inch Rear Wheels with Knobbies
locogato11283 replied to ClutchLuck24/7's topic in Banshee Appearance
Looks over performance is stupid. Further, those tires haven't been available in YEARS. I would know, I had many sets of them. It's pretty simple.. Google search for ATV tires. After you realize there's hardly any options for a good dirt tire for that size wheel, you can come back and apologize. The advice I was giving is based on many years of experience buying and testing tires. I didn't see any sense in wasting his time with stupid wheel/tire setups. -

ITP and Maxxis are junk. I have A LOT of dirt tire experience. -

I'd say it would be a toss up. If I were you, I'd try the CST Pulse out next. -

Horrible tread design and pattern. If you want to try something different, go with CST Pulse. -

Uncut Pulse hooks harder than uncut Ambush. Cut Ambush are still the best cut tire. -

Yea, it looks cool, but you'll get better traction and handling with a 9" wheel and 20" tall tire. -

10" isn't a very good wheel size. There are far more tire options out there for a 9" wheel. I would suggest switching. As far as tires go, the CST Pulse and Ohtsu MR501 are the best performing tires for a Banshee. You can buy a full set of CST Pulse on ebay for $350. -
Lincoln Electric Square Wave TIG 200!
locogato11283 replied to 87sheerips's topic in For Sale - Non Banshee Related
$5,000 for a welder?!?! I have three Millers in my shop, two MIG and a TIG. None of them were anywhere near $5,000 and I've never not been able to get something welded up. I've used them on bikes, trucks, excavation equipment and a million other things. There's no fucking reason a good welder can't be had for way less than $5,000. And I guarantee it'll more way more than enough for 99% of the people on BansheeHQ. -
What does "smh" stand for? I'm new to forums and trying to figure all this out.

BEWARE: Tom Borrink & The Rocket Pipes
locogato11283 replied to Thack82's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Yep. Which is why Rocket in-frame pipes looked nearly identical to GRR out-frames.- 149 replies

Come back with facts or get lost. LSOK campgrounds are SOLD OUT for the BansheeHQ ride. You should come. I'll teach you how to ride on my 450.
-
The rides I put on sell out entire campgrounds. Try again.

I've got no delusions about it. But I have the pipes, so why not. An hour of my time and dyno time isn't a big deal. Plus, I get to tinker.

You always win racing yourself.

STOP fantasizing about me. I'm not ghey!!

IF it worked better, I wouldn't say shit anyway. Why give away info for nothing to morons like you who have never contributed to anything? I've spent enough of my own money testing shit so that other people can have the info for free. I'm done with that. From here on out I will spend the money and keep the info for myself.

Sometimes when I wonder what it would be like to be really fucking stupid, I read your posts.
-
You should! Make sure you put my name under them!

See, this is why you're never going to be anything more than a wannabe. Trying new things or things that one wouldn't normally do is what keeps this industry alive. Guys like you are going nowhere, stuck 10 years behind those of us who attempt to progress.

I'm always trying to figure that out.

That's my thoughts.

I'm new to the site also, but it seems pretty legit. If you're sensitive there are a lot of knitting forums out there.
