  1. Smartest post I've seen. Unless your kitchen is in the garage there's no reason for your girl to be in there.
  2. Buy new. Get a warranty. Bitches love a truck with warranty.
  3. I cannot fathom getting on something with no motor. It's just not American.
  4. Would you rather have pipes that blow shit out of them all the time?
  5. I would go with the Fox setup hands down. i have run Elka Stage 3 and 5 and much prefer the Fox shocks over them. This is the rear shock we use - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fox-Shocks-Factory-Series-2-0-Podium-RC2-Rear-Yamaha-Banshee-350-1987-2014-/400728827872?fits=Make%3AYamaha&hash=item5d4d4ca7e0:g:sZIAAOSwhh5Tohxv&vxp=mtr We run the same shock on both our +8 hillclimb setups and our +14 drag bikes. They have a HUGE range of adjustability.
  6. Those things are fucking junk. I can name 100 tires better than those. The PR guys love them. They must be cheap as fuck.
  7. We run the Fox Podium on both the hillclimb bikes with +8 arms and the drag bikes with +14 arms.
  8. This looks decent - http://www.ebay.com/itm/ELKA-STAGE-1-SHOCKS-ALBA-ATV-LONG-OR-STANDARD-TRAVEL-A-ARMS-YAMAHA-BANSHEE-/141931838794?hash=item210bcbfd4a:g:jT8AAOSwPcVV23-s&vxp=mtr
  9. It's hit and miss it seems. Some of mine work and some don't.
  10. The Alba LT arms look very similar to the Laeger arms. I wouldn't be surprised if they are made by the same company. My shocks are 17" long if I recall.
  11. I like them a lot.. First off, don't buy used shocks. You never know what might be wrong with them. You can buy package deals BRAND new for very reasonable prices. Here's a very nice setup for $2,000 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lone-Star-2-DC-Pro-Fox-Evol-3-RC2-Float-FRONT-Long-Travel-Kit-Yamaha-Banshee-/361198662321?fits=Make%3AYamaha&hash=item54191e32b1:g:8AEAAOxy4t1SeWNi&vxp=mtr The shocks alone are $1,400. Or call ATV Galaxy and have them build you a package. I personally like my Laeger arms.
  12. Ohtsu is a very good tire too. I'm not sure one is superior to the other. I base my tire recommendations on a lot of different factors. I'm not going into all of my "secrets" as I've literally spent thousands of dollars on dirt tires over the years and compared tread patterns, lug height, lug thickness, hardness, weight, etc. I wouldn't steer you guys wrong.
  13. My hillclimb bike has Laeger LT arms and Fox Evols. My brother's has Quicksand ST arms with Float X. Mine has far more adjustment with the shocks. As far as travel goes, I've never checked it. If the cost difference is within a few hundred dollars, I would opt for the LT setup. ST setup LT setup
  14. These are going on my YFZ450, but I suspect they will work very well. I have a lot of time working with dirt tires, and these Pulse tires have all the characteristics of a good hooking tire, in my somewhat educated opinion. Don't cut anything off of them. Run them as is.
  15. Yes, that's correct. This will make for way easier adjusting as you won't have to take the ball joint out of the spindle.
  16. I just bought a set of CST Pulse and I believe they will work very well. I paid $330 shipped for front and rear tires.
  17. I have the same issue. Lots of gear and lots of tire.
  18. Were you getting flex with the OEM cases? I can't remember and I'm too lazy to read.
  19. The best thing to do is wait until riding season to place the order and then be really impatient.
  20. Did you miss the part where he never called the builder? Or the part where they BOTH did leak downs in August with no leaks? Or that it was a USED crank? Or the smartass comment "Ordered a new crank from FAST, thanks Jeff!" The entire post made it sound like the builder sent it out like that. He purposefully left out important info because people would jump his ass. Pretty fucking absurd if you ask me.
