  1. yea you know me real well. you couldnt even get my age right and its posted in my profile, dumbass.
  2. hehe yea im pretty sure hiding under your desk will NOT save you during a nuclear attack. i can only imagine what a scary time it was back when all these hugely destructive weapons were first being made and their power first being discovered by not only the u.s. but by other countries. people suddenly realized if another country didnt like us they could now literally blow our whole country off the globe.
  3. attention helldriver, if you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you may be emo.
  4. you werent on ignore. you are being ignored in that thread. it was a good thread til you crapped it all up.
  5. pretty funny. how have i been an attention whore lately? posted a couple times in the abortion thread and had a very civil discussion about the doomsday clock with banshee04le...WOW what an attention whore. you obviously crave my attention, helldriver. why dont you really cross over to the dark side and just join the brooke fan club already. we have cool club jackets. :thumb:
  6. nope almost ten years before the cuban missel crisis. back in 53 when both us and the soviet union did thermonuclear testing.
  7. yea its a pretty crazy thing really. kinda cool. last time it was adjusted was in 2002 when the u.s. said it was gonna withdraw from the antiballistic missile treaty. well, that wasnt the only reason it was adjusted but one factor.
  8. ann coulter now thats more like it!!
  9. yea im not suggesting we all run around worried that the world is about to end or anything. the doomsday clock was origiinally used as a dramatic way to show these manhattan scientists' view towards what they had created and now feared and regretted creating. midnight represented nuclear war. but it turned into a good measure of whats going on in the world. closest it every got to midnight was two minutes till. :baseball_bat:
  10. :yelrotflmao: i hate john edwards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. well if you mean relevant esoteric meaning to religion than im not sure. its not based solely on how many nukes or other weapons there are in the world, but obviously who has them, and also the climate between opposing groups. and often opposition is based on religion. but if you mean relevant esoteric meaning to the bible specifically, i doubt it, but the bible in general is beyond me. correlation, perhaps.
  12. all seems a bit too john edwards to me. :baseball_wacko:
  13. ahh youve never heard of it? its SO interesting. its a journal of sorts started by some of the scientest from the manhattan project. its all about global security and threats concerning neuclear and other WMDs.
  14. haha well the doomsday clock was created and is maintained and changed by the bulletin of the atomic scientists, no religion involved.
  15. thats the doomsday clock, silly.
  16. for the millonth time i never said i was a badass. it was an insult that obviously went over your head. give it up already. lets try and keep this thread on topic.
  17. give it up helldriver. no one here is saying or suggesting any of that. youre trying awfully hard to bring this thread down. its getting old fast.
  18. nice. and you didnt even have to go back and edit your post. very impressive. moron.
  19. stop dragging this thread down to your pathetic moronic level. dont you have an upside down cross to draw, or some eyeliner to reapply?
  20. no no, sorry for that. its been mentioned a couple times in this thread and ive also know girls who have had several, all for what you may call 'birth control' reasons. freaks me out. like some horror movie shit. i know girls who have had just one and are still haunted by it years later. its depressing when guys think its an easy answer to their 'problem'. ive never found myself in that situation, so i cant speak from personal experience, which is why i tend to avoid the topic. and all the 'pile of goo' or whatever, viewpoints are bothersome too. guys dont really get what its like to be a woman and what it feels like to have the responsibility of getting pregnant. i cant really explain it. ive never been pregnant, but every girl knows that it could happen even with as much birth control possible. its a haunting and scary feeling to any responsible girl. that pile of goo is inside us and a part of us and has the potential to grow and be sustained inside of us. thats some crazy shit. for some people its easy to detach from that and think of it as nothing but a bunch of cells, but i think even girls who do detach will always have it in the back of their mind. to convince any girl that its an easy option is harmful. if a girl is going to have an abortion she needs to be tuned in and ready to deal with it, no matter what her reasons for having one. i bet bigboybanshee can attest to that. even women who have them for reasons of rape, etc, are making a very hard decision.
  21. i wasnt talking about you specifically.
  22. man. i cant believe some chicks have more than one abortion in their life. talk about not learning from your mistakes. :baseball_wibble:
