  1. If anyone does have a leak problem (or any other problem), please give me a call. There is usually an easy fix. -David
  2. The way I understand it: The brown Viton is under license of Dupont who developed Viton but whose patent has expired. Other companies make Viton but can't make it in the brown color. My dome orings are Viton. -David
  3. Already answered but,,,,yes they fit. -David
  4. Man...I lost out on a sale... I sold some Super Cub domes to Mr. Crowder a few weeks ago. Seems like a good guy. Good deal on the Trinity domes.
  5. Dustin, I just got your email. That is right. The Blaster piston domes usually have a flatter squish area than the Banshee piston domes. It is better to run Banshee angle domes with Blaster pistons than Blaster domes with Banshee pistons but you will have better performance matching the domes to the pistons. Domes should be less expensive than pistons if your pistons are in good shape. Give me a call if you want to get some. -David
  6. What size domes do you have to get 120 psi at sea level. 21cc should give you 140 to 145 with a top end that is in fair condition. -David
  7. I would think your low rpm power would suffer quite a bit from the excessive squish clearance. Custom cut domes are $67.50 for the set + shipping with the BHQ discount. Give me a call or PM if you want to order some. -David
  8. I agree, there won't be any performance difference and the studs will be too long to work with acorn nuts. You would get a little better cooling but that shouldn't be an issue with the PD head anyway. I'll still sell one to you if you want. -David
  9. 21cc for Glamis using premium pump gas or higher. Except that you probably don't want to change domes for different rides, you could run 18cc domes at 7000'. If you order it on the web site, use BHQ for the coupon code to get the 10% member discount. -David
  10. I really like the yellow Banshees. If anyone has an extra one,,,PM me.
  11. It's great to have guys like Nate, Boston, and GP here on BHQ along with the guys like Jim, Jeff, and a bunch of others. One of the purposes of the forum is to exchange information. Hopefully they realize that the majority of us don't act like idiots.
  12. Some of the Vitos heads need two notches in the domes but I think they changed the more recent heads. Even if they do, you can grind the little 'tit' off and PD or Noss domes will then fit.
  13. If the dome o-rings aren't leaking, coolant can't get into the cylinders.
  14. If it's just leaking around a stud, a little silicone on the threads should work. Make sure the copper washer is still in decent shape and the nut doesn't bottom out. Call me if that doesn't work. You can just remove the one that is leaking. You don't have to take the head off or anything. -David
  15. Is the nut getting tight against the copper washer or is it bottoming out before it gets tight?
  16. A new head with domes is $234 + shipping after the BHQ discount if you don't find a used one. -David
  17. I've always used grease. Cleaning hardened RTV out of the grooves would require more patience than I have. Actually, the orings should be able to move in the oring grooves a little bit even after they are compressed.
  18. Brandon, What's the name of your business/shop? Are you a builder? -David
  19. Detonation can break the domes. Domes can be made more 'detonation resistant' by changing the angle and width of the squish area, the clearance, and the compression. It is more difficult (not impossible) to make a good dome by modifying an existing dome. -David
  20. I'd consider at least a clamp on filter mod. It's not necessarily a performance mod.
  21. That is pretty suspect. Does the compression guage thread in as far as the spark plug does? Throttle wide open? What was the compression with the stock head? What is your elevation?
  22. Although an aftermarket head won't solve every problem with overheating, they (most of them) do transfer more heat to the coolant so if the rest of the system is working as it should, your operating temperature will drop. Other causes of overheating are: running too lean, a bad impellar, a clogged radiator, a kinked hose. 21cc domes are usually fine with premium pump gas. -David
  23. nunyabinness, How much for the RZ Head? Brandon, What are you doing with all these heads?
