  1. You would be pushing it with 20cc at 450' but fine with 19cc at 4000'. Where do you ride the most? What other mods do you have? -David
  2. Before I bought a CNC Lathe, I farmed turning work out and had a bunch of these made. I'd sell them to BHQ members for $30 each + shipping. They have a 4130 ring on the inside so the aluminum won't get chewed up.
  3. $90??? Damn, I'll sell you some for $80 Actually, my comlete sets are $18 Is it a Noss Head?
  4. Most off-the-shelf domes will work with up to a .080 over bore so they would be fine.
  5. Mine is $22.50 + shipping with the BHQ discount. Check with Stan also. He makes some really good looking stuff. Here's the one I make:
  6. I make them and Dune Devil makes them.
  7. Call Jim at Passion. He does great work.
  8. At sea level around 125 for stock.
  9. You could call Dynoedge. I think they were close to 4 Wheel Thunder and maybe friends with Eric. The pipes may have been the same as some pipe by a different name.
  10. If the 3000' is the minimum elevation you ride at, your compression is probably about 105-110 and you would benefit a lot from increasing the compression. With 19cc domes you could still run premium pump gas. Your bottom end (and overall) power would increase substantially. I run Fatty pipes and 19cc domes and have great bottom end power and plenty of top end.
  11. I think they were from 4-wheel-thunder who went out of business
  12. Like they said, stock is about 23cc. What is the elevation where you ride? Is the timing advanced? What kind of gas are you running or wanting to run? Stock porting?
  13. Is the dome too thick at the bottom or is the recess in the base plate not deep enough or is there something like a burr or something keeping the dome from seating in the head properly? The oring at the top will make it protrude some but if that's the case you should be able to push on it and get it to be fairly flush.
  14. A couple of thousandths is okay but more than, say, .005-.007 could cause a coolant leak around the cylinder. Was it leaking? Is there some trash or something holding it out? If you have the time, you are welcome to send it to me and I'll check it out. It is a Noss Head,,,,right? -David
  15. I don't understand what your describing. Can you post a picture?
  16. Is it not even on TOP of the head or where?
  17. They aren't bad at all. I bought one to make parts for when they first came out. I modded it a little bit. Once my wife rode it, her Warrior got parked and the Z became her's. They are fun to ride and wheelie easy. I wouldn't trade my Banshee for one, but I like riding it sometimes.
  18. If the jetting was close in Florida, it's probably close in Sacramento but I'd check it and the compression. That's a pretty long distance. Are you picking it up or having it shipped?
  19. Yea, I'd check the compression. Unless the porting is pretty extreme, 17cc domes are pretty small. What gas are you running?
  20. There are two pictures...You have to scroll right for the second one. I didn't see it at first. That's a cool jump picture. Donnie has a pretty quick MX Banshee also.....in case anyone is questioning his Grizzly pictures.
  21. I run 110 at Sahara with 19cc but 104 should be fine.
