I’m looking for any BHQ members that live in the UK primarily in the Scotland area. I inherited a European motorcycle 10 years ago and from sitting for 10 years I had a part go bad and the part that it need is not available here in the United States. I did some searching online and found a place in Scotland that has the part but they will not ship to the United States. So please I’m looking for some help. I have no problem with paying whatever it cost. If you can help please send me a pm here. Thanks

I just did a Motion Pro TORS delete kit with the idle screws on my banshee this past weekend. Just a little added information depending on the year of your banshee but on my 05 I had to unplug the TORS control unit that is located by the front fuel tank bolt on the left side (clutch lever side) to make my banshee run after doing the delete kit. I totally removed the control unit.

Pingle Power-Flo Dual Outlet Petcock Question
HeavyHauler posted a topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I purchased a Pingle Power-Flo dual outlet petcock from a BHQ sponsor (Redline Racing) after the OEM petcock started to have problems. So I contacted Redline and Cam told me to follow his instructions on how to install it on his YouTube channel and so I went ahead and watched it and I did exactly what he said and it worked perfectly. My only question is with the dual 5/16” hose barb outlets are facing downwards to much. Is it possible to slightly adjust the hose barb outlets so that they are upwards more? I don’t want to mess with it and cause any type of damage. Thanks Jake -
Get yourself a Coolhead with 19 - 22cc domes. Get some GENUINE V-force 4 reeds and a good quality adjustable timing plate . Stay away from the cheap counterfeit chinese knockoff stuff.

When my stock intake boots shit the bucket I came on here and asked the same exact question. It took a few of days before I got to response so I wound up going on eBay and ordered the Chariot racing individual 26-30mm billet intakes and I also ordered their billet reed cages that come with the boyesen power reeds. If I remember correctly I think I paid $350 plus some change shipped to my door and they ship there items pretty fast. I like the setup a noticed a little bit of a difference in the throttle response and powerband. Good luck, Jake

Just bought my first banshee! Need advice Please help😂
HeavyHauler replied to Zac.22's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Shaking like crazy at high speed can be caused by a balance issue with the tire and wheel assembly or something bent like a wheel or the axle. Steering issue could be a simple adjustment of the tie rods or might be a twisted steering stem. You need to place the Banshee on a flat level surface and place the handle bar in a straight position and look at which way the wheel needs to be adjusted. You then have to loosen the jam nuts on the tie rod ends and turn the tie rod in the direction the wheel needs to go until it looks straight. Then get a tape measure and measure from the center of the tire tread to the frame by the expansion chamber on both sides in the same location and then measure the front side of the tires and adjust to make sure that they both match on the front side and back side. -
Does anyone here currently use or have used either one of Chariot Performances Intakes or Billet Reed Cages ? On Saturday when I was installing my new fuel lines I happened noticed that both my stock intake boots have some cracks around the area where the clamps are for the crossover tube. I also noticed that the reed gaskets are seeping fuel a long the underside of the reeds. So any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jake

Help with a carburetor fuel leak.
HeavyHauler replied to HeavyHauler's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
@JerzOutlaw350Thanks for the info about the fuel hoses. I just got done checking the fuel hoses and you were right they are semi stiff and when I went to bent the hose it cracked. So it looks like I need to get some new fuel hose tomorrow. Thanks again for helping me out. Thanks Jake -
The carburetor on the left side (Choke side) is leaking fuel from where the fuel fitting looks to be pressed into the carburetor body. I tried to wiggle it to see if it is loose and it wasn’t loose. Is there any way to fix it ? Thanks Jake

Back in February of this year I purchased my 05 Banshee. It’s basically stock other than the Toomey T5’s, Toomey perfect jet kit and a Pro Design pro flow filter kit with the K&N filter and Outerwear that was installed by the previous owner. My elevation here is roughly 800 ft above sea level and my outside temperature varies from 50 degrees and can go up to 90 degrees depending on the time of year. I also heard that humidity can play an huge role and can affect the jetting as well. I have stock carbs with the TORS deleted by the previous owner. I was given the extra 270 & 290 main jets if I needed them for later down the road. So right now I have 280 main jets with stock pilots, clip is on the 4th groove on the Toomey needle and my air screw is at 1.5 turns out. I also use 95 octane ethanol free gas with a 32:1 mixture. I ride in a mix of terrain that is dusty, a little bit of mud and a couple of shallow water crossings which are anywhere from about 6”- 18” inches deep depending on the rain fall in the area. I avoid really deep water( it’s a Banshee not a Jet Ski ) and I don’t fly through the water crossings either because I don’t run a lid on my air box, but I do use a Outerwear that is dust proof and water repellent on my K&N filter and I don’t have any problems with the filter setup, but before I do anything I check the filter & Outerwear to make sure that everything is clean, tight and in working condition before I do any kind of riding. From what I read on here in some of the really old posts that they are saying that the stock air filter setup is completely garbage and that it should be the first modification that should be done when buying a new Banshee. How muddy are the trails that you ride on ? Are they the type of trails that you need a 4x4 quad to ride on ?

Best brand of nerf bars to buy?
HeavyHauler replied to HeavyHauler's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Thank you JerzOutlaw350 for the helpful information and advice. -
I’m looking to purchase a set of nerf bars for my Banshee. I’ve been looking on RMATV, Motorsport.com and also on eBay and there is multiple styles and different brands to choose from. To get this out of the way I would really like to try and keep my stock heel guards. So, now I’m trying to decide which ones to buy. What’s everyone’s thoughts and opinion on the best brand to buy? Thanks Jake

So.. yesterday one of my friends that I ride with and I went to the local dealership because he needed some Klotz Super Techniplate. He wanted to buy 4 -16 oz bottles of it and when he picked up the 16 oz bottles of it he said something doesn’t feel right about the bottle. So then he picked up another one on the shelf and he said that it didn’t feel right either. So we went through all the ones that were on the shelf and they didn’t feel right either. So we got the parts department manager and told him about it and he came over to check it out and he agreed and said something isn’t right with the bottles. He then took them all off the shelf and put them on the counter and he checked them out and they all had the same manufacturer lot # and date code. So then he took one and opened it and the bottle was factory sealed from klotz and no signs of it being tampered with. He then went on to checked the content inside the bottle and it was fine. He then went into the service area and came back with a ratio rite cup and dumped the entire bottle of klotz into it and then we found the problem. The bottle that was labeled to have 16 ounces only contained 14 ounce. So for all the guys who buy the 16 ounce bottle of any type of 2 stroke oil and mix it with 4 gallons of gas, start checking to make sure you are getting the FULL 16 ounces of 2 stroke oil. Sorry for the long post. Jake

I own a set of CST Pulse HT’s mounted on my stock wheels and I have a set of Kenda Klaw XC’s mounted on my alba racing beadlock wheels. I have only owned the 2 sets of tires for a couple months now. I love both sets and it’s really hard to pick which one is better because they both perform about the same on the type of terrain that I ride on. Good luck on which ones you choose to purchase Up north rider. Jake.

What’s everyone’s recommendation??
HeavyHauler replied to HeavyHauler's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Thank you so much locogato11283 for the quick reply and for the helpful information. I got everything that I needed from Driveline and ATV Galaxy. I even found on ATV Galaxy’s eBay store that they had the TM case save so I also ordered that also. Thanks Jake -
So.. Over this past weekend I did 2 days of riding and when I got home Sunday night I noticed an issue. Please bare with me as I try to describe some of the parts that I need to replace. First is the upper chain roller came apart and all that remains is the bearing and a small spacer / collar. The lower chain roller is starting to come apart as well. The other part that came apart is a plastic part that looks like a bigger chain roller that rides on the swing arm on the same side as the chain side. I’m also looking into purchasing a case saver, new chain, new sprockets and anything else that needs to be replaced. Any recommendations would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Jake

What’s up fella’s!! So I have been riding my Banshee for the past 2 days here with my friends and the outside temps have been in the 60’s with no humidity. I noticed that the coolant reservoir tank keeps running dry but the radiator level is perfectly fine. I don’t think it’s getting hot enough to overheating either. When I let it cool down and remove the radiator cap it makes a slight pop sound from releasing the pressure. I spent last night checking the complete coolant system for any type of leaks and didn’t find any hose clamps loose or out of place. I even removed the reservoir tank and blocked off where the hoses connect to the reservoir and filled up my kitchen sink with water to see if the reservoir tank has a leak and that was good. I then refilled the reservoir tank with 50/50 mixed coolant and then warmed it up and then let it sit and run idle for about 20 minutes and I even revved it up a little bit and nothing was leaking then I looked to see if there were any bubbles backing up in the reservoir tank and I didn’t see any bubbles. Then I checked to see if the coolant was leaking into the transmission and mixing with the transmission oil and that was perfectly fine. I pulled both spark plugs and they both are fine and are a light tan / coco color. I’m sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out what the heck is causing this issue. Here’s my question. Is this a common problem with Banshees or is there something else wrong? Thanks, Jake

If you got that gut feeling about them then trust your gut and find a Banshee that is for sale locally where you live or one that is in a reasonable driving distance. I found my mint condition 05 Special Edition Banshee for a good price from a local collector. Good Luck!

The guy that I purchased my 05 Special Edition from had a whole collection of Banshees from 1987-2008 that were not in crates. I just happen to find him selling a couple of them that he had doubles of.
