Oh I got cha. It shouldn’t rust on the patch, it’s 304 stainless tig welded to the frame, I covered most of the chrome overlap with welding and hit it with some clear spray after. Should be rust free for a long while As for the chrome arms I don’t know what I’m gonna do yet. I never actually pulled out the leak test from south Texas banshee, talking with kevin we didn’t think it needed it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

If she runs smooth and nice that trip I’ll look at some suspension and maybe some forward control arms. I also add some new bars and ordered a set of breakaway levers Fly racing bars for some height. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Nope as a matter of fact not, only one side was getting hot so I started at carbs again Picked up new needles as they looked a little suspicious Added a new Ricky stator as the cheapo was junking up things After I did the carbs, added a Toomey air cleaner, new plugs it fired up and ran smooth!! She is broke in again, plugs look nice and lean Got the paddles all back on and ready to go Mother’s Day weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

The general consensus is my jetting was off, 300’s I had but the builder is saying I should have had 330’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Sorry I didn’t mention it. I ordered south Texas banshees battery kit for the banshee, hooked me up with a light tag for a flag, some undercarriage lights, head lights and switches and the works. Pumped to get going on it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Need to adjust them a little more but otherwise I think it’s about ready to rip minus my wire harness from kevin @ Texas banshee. Also go follow up on the shifting, The shop looked at it, didn’t bill me for it and it runs and shift smooth now that I have it back. They didn’t explain what the issue was:( But it’s running really well. Had to jet down from a 310 to a 300 as my plugs where a bit rich. But it runs well. Need to order a new air filter set. Looking at the Toomy single into two filter. It just looks better to me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Question for the group. What are your thoughts on v force reeds? No port work on my motor, stock carbs with a few mill bore on the motor, cool head and pipes is all. Never any internet to go bigger What is gained from v force reeds for me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Well I’ll report it doesn’t like to shift down, I can shift up the gear cycle fine but down it binds up in third gear pretty hard. I verified the cam screw is keeping the shift in line where it needs to be but otherwise it’s looks good to me. Gonna talk to the builder tomorrow am Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
