  1. that thing, underneath the washer, where the main jet is screwd in, has a rubber O-ring. maybe the O-Ring is damaged
  2. i read in a good tutorial.....for 450 to 600 meters above sea level more, one Jet size bigger^^
  3. parking brake removed already? i heard, the problem that you describe often happens when the PB is faulty
  4. that's a really nice looking one. looks a little like a Suzi LTR-450 hybrid
  5. maybe a Pro Design foam filter and the snorkel removed from the air box lid. poke a few rows of holes in the lid and put it back on the air filter box. like in the video below at the 04:25 mark. i have seen them cruising around in the dunes often with tha banshee, so it must have a reason why they did not removed everything. i'm not a expert btw
  6. i have those here. they look like the original ones, but they aren't :) i realised that, after i ordered a new pair of "original" bulbs for the banshee. but they were way to small. you can get in much bigger bulbs in these headlights. i prefer the original look^^
  7. maybe to a future date, if still available. i just fear, the not so small package will stuck at the Frankfurt Airport Customs in germany til eternity. i've had bad experience a few weeks ago, with a letter from the US. got lost and did not arrived, because the custom officials obviously are retards. you'll get rid of it pretty fast with less efforts i'm already sure
  8. i wish my KS would rattle like hell, but my bike is pretty much new and the kick starter is still tight
  9. why you want to get rid of it? these are the most bad ass looking plastics available for the banshee! i would buy the pack for replacement, just in the case my ones broke in near future, but i don't yet where you from. probably from the US
  10. my plan was actually, to run the Speedometer with that battery only without connecting it to the stator ect and charging it manually later. maybe crackpot idea lol
  11. isn't there a better service manual in the meanwhile? the images in that one are crappy as hell and the search function is not working but better than nothing tbh
  12. has someone experience with Lithium ion batteries? but these thingies have no "memory effect", so i'm not sure about that, if a Speedometer could run with it. I have no battery installed too and my plan is, to run my Trail Tech Endurnance II with such a battery at least, because it is small and no further alterations on the rear fender is needed. i have also four frickin winkers and an extra backlight installed, because it is a must have. you can install that 12V ion battery like any other motorcycle battery and connect to the Stator/regualtor, but also standalone and later recharged with a charger if power is low. what are your thoughts on this solution?
  13. what's a proper mixture for a stock Banshee? 40:1 good enough?
  14. yeah, i already heard about the laws in the US. you are alowed to ride a ATV in public, but on road sides only, at least in most states. in germany, the laws are quite strict too, if not more strictly. first of all, a Quad/ATV will be handled as a Car because it has 4 wheels, it needs its papers and needs to be insured by a insurance company in any case, like any other vehicle too. 2. the vehicle needs to be registered by the traffic office (don't know the english name) of the county where you live. after that, license plates will be issued (not for free). two of them, for the front & rear, at least 20x20 centimeters big that fucking thingies. really silly! but with a trick, you could register the quad as a sort of " tractor unit" for the agricultural sector, but still allowed to drive it anywhere you want...including cities and highways. this sort registration/insurance is lot cheaper and the taxes are lower than for other vehicles. but the quad needs some alterations then, which could cost around 1000 bucks more in the end, if the alterations have not been made already. the most important alteration is the coupling device (mostly attached to the excenter of the axle) and the lights need also some alterations. winkers and mirrors as well must be attached. other alterations, such as louder exhausts and pipes, are very hard to get approved by the traffic authorities. for the Banshee (since it is a 2 stroker lol), it's almost impossible to find Pipes/Exhausts that can be legally attached. such parts need quality checks and such crap, along with a document by the manufacturer. after one found such tuning parts and some other criteria fit, the vehicle papers will get an entry for that particular part, which also cost some fees more. anyways..to cut a long story short. i would say, out of 99% of every Banshee on the German roads, especially with FMF exhausts/pipes (as a example), are illegal. that means the insurance and permission is gone automatically while its owners still continue to pay their taxes, at least until they get catched for the first time by a bad-tempered cop^^ so, owning and driving a more- or less rare Banshee here, is to some extent luxury. for the Shee itself including all other expenses, i already spent almost 10k. interesting isn't it? 😄
  15. ok i understand! i'll check that myself in a couple of days irl with a folding meter stick or something like that. the tires a quite new, so i should do that as early as possible, especially the front wheels. maybe i buy some spacers too later. but not that alluminium chineses crap but proper, aproved ones, from a german manufacturer! i own my 2006 Banshee just since week or so btw. got it with low hours and mint condition from a certified motocycles/quad dealer for a "collector's price" i'm very excited already, to drive that damn thing the first time on public roads
  16. hey 375hp banshees. but IS the "axle" wider in the end then? currently, i do not have access to my Banshee. when i look at the Original Wheels on images, the center/offset (where the wheel hub is attached later) looks pretty much centered. so i fear, this will not make the rear significant wider
  17. does it work with the back wheels too? i just want my Banshee a few inches wider at the rear!
