  1. Only way I can see that happening. Is if you somehow got the end of your shift shaft backwards. Where it connects with the shift star.
  2. Yeah.. That's what I wound up doing.. Cody got back with me and said to maybe start out with 360's and 27.5 pilots.... The biggest mains I have on hand are 340's and I only have 25's and 30's for pilots... So I'm considering putting in the 340's and 30's just for initial heat cycle...Should be ok just for that, wouldn't ya think ? And I'm actually in Ohio. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
  3. We'll I had port work done by f.a.s.t . and that's the dome size Jeff recommend. He said I should wind up around 160 psi and be fine with 93 octane.. This is my first Banshee, so I'm just going by His advice.
  4. I'm looking for advice on jetting a new build. Would rather be a little fat, then lean..especially for break in.. Mods are stock stroke, 64.5 pistons, dune/play ported cylinders, cool head with 18cc domes, Mikuni 28's round slide carbs, T5 pipes, +4 timing, k&n filter, air box w/o lid..93 octane, 600ft to 1500ft elevation.......Thanks in advance Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
  5. If your gonna get port work done ? Just be prepared to wait !!!! Tis the season for it. So the shops get backed up... But the wait is worth it, for the quality of workmanship. If someone promises you a week or 2 turnaround ? I would be a little skeptical about using them..Just F.Y.I Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk
  6. Jeff or Cody at F.A.S.T. Racing.. Usually if you email them.. You will hear back within the hour..I always have. Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk
  7. Have you had your stator cover off yet ? Is it sealed well ? I ask because when I took apart the one I am currently building. It was just FULL of dirt and rusted. Pick up coil and stator was rusted and needed cleaned !!! Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk
  8. 1-1\2 times the diameter of a bolt is the max holding limit of any thread.any longer is just extra. Ie. 1\2" bolt would equal 3\4 length of thread engagement.
  9. I have a basically the exact same set up. Just had my cylinders ported by Jeff at F.A.S.T. Will also be running 19cc domes. Jeff told me that I should be around 160 compression and running 93 octane is fine. That is actually what I told him I wanted to run. Before He started my port work.
  10. I honestly don't know about ALL 2 strokes. I never even started doing leak downs before the banshee... Never had an issue.
  11. Some will say 1psi per min.. But NO good engine builder will allow that.
  12. Once you have done a leak down. It should be easier to track down the issue.. Report back then... Gotta get some sleep now... Good luck.
  13. Rooienga has got it right except it should be 6 psi for 6 mins. While not loosing more than 1 psi.
